Transport:
We are happy to arrage transport from a convenient location but this must be arranged in advance with the contact.
If you can offer transport then please also telephone the contact.
A contribution towards fuel/running costs is usual.
Weather:
In extreme weather conditions please check whether the walk will continue.
Rain doesn't stop us, but if the Police are advising against unnecessary journeys....
Please bring appropriate clothing and equipment, sunscreen, water and a packed lunch - though we do try and finish at a tea shop. The walk leader is not responsible for your personal health and safety.
What about dogs and children?
Well behaved dogs are tolerated and must be kept on a lead where necessary.
If you want to bring children then check the nature of the walk with the leader and you must accept responsibility if they can't keep up the pace.
